Surveying the breadth of the Colleton River, Seven Oaks Estate occupies acreage of pristine maritime forest. Specimen live oaks, magnolias, palmettos, and towering pines frame the grounds - lending a compelling sense of place and authenticity. While the grounds in and of themselves reflect one of nature's great masterpieces, it is the approximately 500 feet of shoreline that captures the imagination. The daily ebb and flow of the tides, the seasonal transformation of spartina grass, the flight of the heron and playfulness of dolphin... all converge into a dynamic tapestry of wonder and beauty.

Much of the home was designed and built to accommodate antique pieces collected over the years from multiple buying trips throughout Europe.

The light and airy Tea Room features an antique leaded glass ceiling from an old New York hotel and provides the perfect place for an afternoon break of tea or coffee.

As one turns and enters through the 10' high solid wood sliding pocket doors into the Great Room and the Library, the high vaulted cathedral ceiling showcases hand carved beams and incredible water views!

The long Gallery with a beautiful "groin" ceiling accesses the Dining Room as well as opening onto a beautiful courtyard featuring an outdoor fireplace, fountain, and sunset views over the Colleton River.
